Drawing a simple butterfly needs:
- A4 size plain paper
- Colors (colored pencils, watercolor or watercolor pens)
- Pencil
- Rubber

Here is a step by step guide on how to drawing a simple butterfly.
Step 1: draw a circle.
First, draw a circle on the top half of the drawing paper. This will be the head / face of the butterfly.

Step 2: Draw an extended oval that connects the circle.
From the bottom of the circle, draw an oval that descends and extends downward. Make sure the oval touches the bottom of the circle. This forms the body of the butterfly.

Step 3: Draw two curved lines on the body.
Draw two curved lines, equal to each other, on the throttle body as shown in the figure. This is the belly of the butterfly.

Step 4: Draw a smile.
Now on the face (the circle drawn in step 1) draw a smile with two small circles for the butterfly’s eyes and a curved line for its smile.

Step 5: Draw two lines at the end of the head.
On top of the butterfly, draw the antenna with two curved lines flowing in opposite directions as shown in the figure.

Step 6: Draw two circles on either side of the butterfly body.
Draw two overlapping circles on the butterfly body in the center. These circles are the front butterfly wings. Use the curved belly lines for your reference for the perfect shape as possible.

Step 7: Draw a curve under each wing.
Draw a curve under each wing and connect it to the bottom of the throttle body. These are the rear wings of the butterfly.

Step 8: Draw curves from the lines on the abdomen.
Now connect the two curved lines on the abdomen, draw a curve inside each front wing as shown in the figure.

Step 9: Draw two curved lines on the lower body.
From the point where the butterfly body meets the rear wings, draw a curved line on each side, pointing away from each other. Draw a small circle at the end of each of these lines. These lines are the legs of the butterfly.

Step 10: draw circles in the center of each front wing
In the center of each front wing, draw two concentric circles and touch yourself as shown in the figure below.

Step 11: Draw small circles on the front fenders.
On the outside of the front fenders, draw three small circles on each side of the fenders.

Step 12: coloring the butterfly.
Now drag all your colors and emboss the butterfly as many colors as you want.
